Witham Family Hotels is in search of a Housing Maintenance Personnel to join the team.

As the Housing Maintenance Personnel you will efficiently maintain, improve, and repair the employee housing properties to provide our employees a safe and efficient environment to reside in.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • General knowledge of plumbing, heating, electrical, painting, and carpentry
  • Repair equipment, routine house inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Responds to employee maintenance requests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Keeps all work areas clean and well organized
  • Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools required
  • Maintain all employee housing grounds to include pruning, mowing, plowing, raking and shoveling
  • Arrive to work on-time and ready to begin shift
  • Arrive to work in appropriate work attire (uniform, footwear, name tag) neat and professional in appearance
  • Display a positive attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism consistent with the company values
  • Is a self-starter, has initiative and a proactive approach
  • Has the ability to work alone or as a team member
  • Complete work in a timely manner that meets productivity standards/expectations
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

    • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and carpentry.

    Experience / Education:

    Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession. Vocational School Certification preferred. Willing to train the right applicant.

    Physical Demands:

    This is a very physically demanding job that requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and kneeling and climbing ladders. Lifting of up to 65 lbs. Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods.
